Freedom Missions

Acts 1:8 says “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth”. At Freedom we believe this means we have a responsibility to reach out to those our local city, our country and the rest of the world.

So we have built our missions program around that principle, starting right here in Cranbourne with local missions projects. We support other local organisations in their work as well as a few of our own; like our Christmas hampers which we distribute to local families and individuals in need each year.

We also support a number of national organisations as well as missionaries and missions programs around the world; in Thailand, Vietnam, India and Romania.

We also send out short term missions teams to join the missionaries we financially support to assist them on the ground and have a training pathway to release people with a missionary call into the field.

You can donate to Freedom missions either by direct deposit into our missions account or by using the marked envelopes that can be found under the seats during our Sunday service. Generally the first Sunday of every month (except in the case where we have a guest speaker or special service, in which case it will be the second Sunday of the month) is our missions Sundays where we share updates from the programs and missionaries we support as well as when we collect a monthly missions offering.

To find out more about the specific missions programs and missionaries we support please send us an email or ask one of our friendly service team members at the info desk on a Sunday.

Together we can reach our city, our country and the rest of the world!
